Our SW56-4 loft ladder is made to measure according to your preferred specification. This complete solution features a 56 mm solid trapdoor with EPS (expanded polystyrene), giving it a low U-value of 0.90 W/m2*K. Tested as a building component.
The casing is robust pine, 19 - 80 cm high. The sturdy ladder has a spruce stringer of 8.4 cm and non-slip treads with a tread surface of 8.2 cm, providing a comfortable, safe step surface. The 3-part ladder has a width of 35.8 cm and is finished with black plastic feet to protect the floor. DOLLE SW56-4 is a craftsman-quality loft ladder with excellent insulation values that can be installed quickly and easily with white plastic architraves included.
DOLLE SW56-4 can be prepared for a cylinder lock. This means that, in addition to a standard black snap lock, SW56-4 can be supplied with an extra lock on the housing, requiring the purchase of a drop-shaped 40 mm profile cylinder (according to DIN 18252). The cylinder is a one-sided profile cylinder, allowing the loft ladder to be locked from the outside. The is advantage of this is if you choose to install in common areas where there is a need to lock the loft ladder. For added security, a red handrail for the ladder can also be selected (the casing width of the loft ladder must be over 57.6 cm). The separately purchased cylinder lock allows programming the same key for the loft ladder, external door, mailbox, etc. The cylinder lock should have a maximum length of 31 mm.
It is possible to design the Made-to-measure loft ladder with a casing height of up to 80 cm. Casing heights over 36 cm are fitted with an extra tread in the casing. If the casing height is above 65 cm, 2 treads must be installed to comply with building regulations. The casing is white primed plywood.
