Riser bars are designed to fit horizontally between the treads of an open-tread staircase. They reduce the gap between treads to less than 100mm, this is a requirement of UK building regulations.
Choose the colour to match your DOLLE staircase. Our child riser bar kits are available in 4 semi-gloss colours anthracite, black, white and pearl grey. You can use riser bars to improve safety by mounting them under the treads as a barrier to close the gap. This is an important safety feature and a requirement for UK Building Regulations if the staircase is to be used as a primary staircase. For a staircase to comply it must not have a gap over 100mm, installing the riser bar kit will ensure compliance.
If you have a straight flight staircase model with 10 or 11 treads, you will need this package with 20 riser bars. If you have a straight flight staircase with 12 treads or more, select the 30 riser bars. All quarter turn and half turn modular staircases will need 30 riser bars. We also offer riser bars for spiral stairs. In the kit you get all the fittings you need to install easily and can be added after the staircase is installed.
