The middle banister pack can be added to your DOLLE spiral staircase to reduce the space between the main balusters. Adding 1 pack will give 1 extra baluster per tread on a 12 tread staircase and can be used with our Calgary & Montréal spiral staircases ranges.
Adding one pack will bring the space between balusters on each tread from 20,5 cm to 9.05 cm on the 120 diameter Calgary, and from 23.5 cm to 10.5 cm on the 140 diameter. If you are looking to install as a primary staircase compliant with UK building regulations, you will need to ensure the gap is no wider than 10 cm.
The pack also includes 2 extra balusters for the top platform along with 1 extra for each tread (11 pcs.). A total of 13 balusters in each pack. You may also want to consider our riser bars kits? Riser bars are designed to fit horizontally between the treads of an open-tread staircase, they close the gap between the treads to less than 10cm which is also a requirement for UK building regulations.
