The DOLLE REI 60 offers 60 minutes of fire resistance and complies with EN 13501-2. The trapdoor is insulated with a 70 mm Rockwool panel made from non-combustible, moisture- and water-repellent stone wool.
The 76 mm thick trapdoor of the DOLLE REI 60 vario is insulated with a 70 mm Rockwool panel, offering excellent fire protection while helping to retain warmth in winter and reduce heat in summer. The robust CPL laminate coating is highly resistant to scratches, impacts, and wear. Its top layer of melamine resin makes it resistant to light scratching, heat, solvents and everyday dirt. It's smudge-proof, easy to clean, and maintains a pristine appearance. The discreet white CPL surface is also UV-resistant, ensuring a long-lasting bright finish.
The DOLLE REI 60 wooden loft ladder is crafted from solid pine, with 12 non-slip beech treads and black plastic feet to protect your flooring. The 19 cm high casing includes sealing strips to minimise heat loss. It’s a stable, high-quality ladder that’s easy to operate and built to last.
In the event of a fire, a building’s structure must remain protected for a certain period. Building regulations therefore require fire resistance across various structural elements – including loft ladders. DOLLE's fire-resistant loft ladders are rigorously tested to meet the highest European standards and are certified according to EN 13501-2. The DOLLE REI 60 achieves 60 minutes of fire resistance.
During testing, the loft ladder is installed in a fire chamber and exposed to realistic fire conditions. DOLLE REI 60 is tested and certified according to the REI method – the European benchmark for fire resistance – at DBI (Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology).
